Irrigation Pump EIP 2

The EIP 2 irrigation pump flushes the target tissue clear of feces, food remnants, clots or blood. EIP 2 can be activated for irrigation during diagnosis and therapy, so that an additional irrigation catheter is no longer required. In electrosurgical cutting and coagulation, adhesion is reduced on moist, irrigated tissue. In addition, irrigation also allows sources of bleeding to be more effectively exposed, enabling efficient and targeted coagulation. ERBE EIP 2 is activated either by using the footswitch or directly at the unit. The quick activation buttons on the display allows the user to between three different irrigation levels – 30 %, 50% or 80 % as standard, which can be modified and stored individually. Using an irrigation adapter, the tubing set can be directly connected to the instrument channel of the endoscope. As a result, irrigation can be carried out while an instrument is ed, without changing the instrument.
