We are a company with 60 years of experience importing and distributing medical devices and equipments, delivering quality products for physicians and clinics all over Brazil. We contemplate our own technical assistance.

 

E.Tamussino & Cia Ltda, founded in 1959, is a company that imports and distributes medical devices and equipments in the following areas: Anesthesia (VAD), Aortic Vascular Surgery, Peripheral Vascular Surgery, Laparoscopy, Thoracic Surgery, Endoscopy, Lead Management, Gastroenterology, Gynecology , Pulmonology, Interventional Radiology, Urology, Intensive Care, Trauma and others.

E. Tamussino headquarter is in Rio de Janeiro (RJ) and the offices are strategically located in major centers: Belo Horizonte (MG), Brasília (DF), Curitiba (PR), Florianópolis (SC), Porto Alegre (RS), Recife (PE), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Salvador (BA) and São Paulo (SP).

With more than 60 years of experience, it has a wide range of products to offer to physicians, hospitals and clinics all over Brazil, with guarantee and exclusive technical assistance.

1950

Ética e Compliance

Founded in 1959 in Rio de Janeiro under the name of Henrique Gomma & Cia LTDA.

1960 e 1970

In 1964 Mr. Ekkehart Tamussino joined the company as partner. In 1978 the company changed its name to Gomma - Tamussino e Cia & LTDA

1980

The company passed to the control of Mr. Ekkehart and acquires its definive name: E. Tamussino & Cia LTDA. In addition of distributing medical and hospital supplies mainly for radiology, in 1981 we also began manufacturing small and medium - size X-ray equipments.

1990

With the reopening of the Brazilian market, the company returned dedicating itself again to imports and distribution of medical devices, starting also new partnerships which last until today.

2010

Today we are a reference of quality proven by the certification of best practices and by the ISO 9001: 2015 cerficate. We also have a strong ethics and compliance policy.

Provide medical devices and equipments wich enable na accurate diagnosis, less traumatic procedures and redution of hospitalization time, with the purpose of improving the effciency in medical care and proving quality of life for the patient.

E. Tamussino has been awarded the Certification of Good Practices in Import, Storage and Distribution of products for health, medical equipment and technical assistance of ANVISA. The company carries out its activities certified by ISO 9001: 2015 of ABNT

Tamussino is committed to meeting the requirements and continuously improving the effectiveness of its Quality Management System.
